Codeword Secret

Posted by Kevin Good on 04/03/08

Codeword Secret is a 22-minute independent television pilot.  It premiered at the New York Television Festival, and since then has garnered a number of awards, such as "My Mom's Favorite CIA-themed TV Pilot" and "Best Use of 4th of July Fireworks in a Show Filmed From Barry's Roof".

Hey, guys. This one was really good and shot very well. I particularly liked the exterior shots and the roof shot at the end (that was great). On a different note, the females voice at the end was off (words didn't match her mouth movement - didn't know if it was my computer or what). The opening interior shots were really good, but some of the others were kind of bland (conference room stuff) and probably, because of lack of space. Danny was great and funny as hell and everybody did a good job. Y'all got skillz!!

Gavigan's pacing needs work, otherwise, I think one of your several best efforts. Perfect pilot plot for a series, fight scene was great, explosion hysterical, some great lines, strong ensemble...
